nana-confessions:

I think NANA is those types of shows that can suffice without an exact ending. Even if I would love to have an answer to all my questions, I feel as if the problems revolving around the story cannot be solved quite simply, but with time, people can heal. Overall, I’m just happy that I got to know the characters and in my heart, everyone has a happy ending despite what has happened in their pasts.

this is the tattoo i want. the compass is more important as far as symbolism is concerned than almost anything else in my life. i had a cheap little compass when i was younger that i would take out into the fields and try to get lost with to see if i could find my way home. it did not work. sometimes memories of things are more of a security blanket than useful information to carry forward, but despite the fact that the compass did not work, i always found my way home. my entire life has been one blessing after another, and through none of my own luck, whenever i was lost, or thought i was, it was just because i could not see the potential of the situation as an opportunity for something i never could have imagined.
